Allergies
Im getting allergy shots from the doctor every week!! thats why i wasn;t at school!!!!!!!!!

Light saber efect in GIMP (2.2)!

This is how it's done withthe Gimp 2.2 (gimp.org):
1. go to file>new
2. click on Advanced Options
3. set fill with to tranceparency
4. for a strait line, select the rect selection tool
1. select the color you want the "light saber"
2. select the box you want by clicking and draging until you get the size you want
3. select the bucket fill option
4. fill the selected box by clicking on it
5. select the blur/sharpen tool
6. make sure it is set the "blur", not "sharpen"
7. set the rate to 100%
8. select the biggest solid brush size available
9. blur as much as desired by clicking and draging over the box
10. re-select the rect selection tool
11. go to edit>copy
12. open desired file
13. go to edit>paste
14. if you want to rotate the box, select the rotation tool
15. click on selection and rotate as desired
16. click rotate
17. click outside of the selection to anchor it
18. you're done!
5. for not-strait lines, just select the brush tool and use a fuzzy brush.
the rezult is:

Light saber effet on photoshop!!!
1. First use the polygon lasso tool and make the shape of the blade,now you should have the blade selected.
2. go to layers section on the top tool bar! make a new layer.
3.now paint the blade whit with paint bucket!
4. go to layer>layer style>outer glow.
5. a window should pop up, now set the color and settings to what you want!
6.though it may not look perfect and it may look 2-d, but don't fear, click ok and go to filters>blur>Gaussian blur, then set it to about 12.5, now click ok and you have a finished masterpiece, oh yeah, also keep the blade selected until the end!!!
P.S If you have trouble then just email your photo to me and I'll do it for you!!!
P.S.S you also have to have a pretty dark background or the light saber glow won't show or it will be very faint!!!!
